Job Summary
This role involves developing and implementing visual effects within the Houdini environment for the 'Love and Deepspace' project. Key responsibilities include creating effect demos, packaging them into reusable HDAs, and producing game-engine-ready VFX assets. The ideal candidate will possess a strong passion for game development, a robust artistic background, and a keen understanding of visual rhythm and motion, adapting to diverse design aesthetics. Proficiency in industry-standard software like Unity3D, Unreal Engine, 3DMAX, Maya, Photoshop, and After Effects is essential, with a particular emphasis on extensive Houdini experience.
Must Have
- Love games, have a strong interest in game development
- Full-time college degree or above, 3+ years of relevant work experience
- Solid art foundation, keen color perception, rich imagination, deep understanding of rhythm and movement laws, able to adapt to various design styles
- Proficient in Unity3D, Unreal Engine, 3DMAX, MAYA, Photoshop, After Effects and other related special effects design software
- 3+ years of Houdini experience
- Familiar with rigid body shattering and solving systems, able to preprocess imperfect pre-models, and have some understanding of particles, fluids, and pyro
- Accustomed to using VOP, VEX for production
- Interested in the application of Houdini effects in Unity

- Knowledge of Embergen, Liquigen is a plus
