General Profile:
- Lead the design and delivery of total rewards for India, creating programs that drive business results and align with global strategy. As the country’s senior rewards expert, you’ll partner with HR and business leaders to craft competitive and innovative solutions that enable talent and performance. This role demands deep technical expertise, full program ownership, and the ability to influence and drive change in a complex, fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive India’s total rewards strategy and execution, including annual compensation cycles (salary, bonus, stock), benefits program and vendor management.
- Serve as a trusted advisor to leadership, business HR, and Finance, ensuring rewards solutions balance market competitiveness with business priorities and budget constraints.
- Collaborate with the global Rewards and Benefits COE on program design and alignment, ensuring India’s needs are reflected in enterprise initiatives and local execution is seamless
- Ensure that compensation and benefits responsibilities and milestones are completed in a timely manner.
- Understand end to end processes and customer experience, recommending improvements that leverage technology and on-demand content.
- Apply advanced data analytics and modeling to compensation and benefits planning, benchmarking, and decision support.
- Lead change management and communication planning for rewards rollouts, ensuring clarity and adoption across stakeholders. Facilitate managers and employee education about programs, update country benefits site and benefits enrollment platform as needed.
- Develop and maintain compensation and benefits knowledge base for HR Shared Services, country benefits site, and enrollment platform, enabling scalable support.
- Promote wellness programs for employees. Plan, develop, implement and monitor wellness related events.
- Ensure statutory compliance (PF, gratuity, ESI, tax laws), maintain audit readiness, and proactively manage risk and governance. Support global benefits governance process and approvals.
- Maintain a continuous feedback loop with COE, business HR, and HR Shared Services, identifying opportunities for innovation and improvement.
Qualifications:
- 10+ years’ experience in Compensation & Benefits/Total Rewards roles within technology or multinational, matrixed organizations.
- Demonstrated expertise in Indian statutory requirements and experience aligning local programs with global frameworks.
- Advanced skills in data analytics, modeling, and compensation planning.
- Proven track record managing annual rewards and renewals cycles, benefits program design and execution, and vendor relationships.
- Strong stakeholder engagement skills, including partnership with Finance for budgeting and business leaders for decision-making.
- Experience leading change management and communications for major program rollouts.
- Disciplined, audit-ready approach to compliance and governance.
