The IT Implementation Project Manager is responsible for planning, coordinating, and delivering technology implementation projects on time, within scope, and budget, collaborating with cross-functional teams.
Must Have
- Engage clients for functional requirements on building permits.
- Interpret building bye-laws and development control regulations.
- Prepare FRDs, Use Case documents, and process flow diagrams.
- Coordinate with developers for implementation.
- Review system outputs and assist in functional testing/UAT.
- Analyze CAD drawings for system validation.
- Provide implementation, training, and post-deployment support.
- Maintain communication between clients, PMs, and development team.
- Identify process gaps and suggest system improvements.
- Strong understanding of building bye-laws, DCR, and approval procedures.
- Experience in preparing functional documents (BRDs, FRDs).
- Ability to read, interpret, and analyze CAD drawings.
- Basic knowledge of software development processes (SDLC, Agile).
- Proficiency in Computer-Aided Design (CAD).

Job Description & Summary

We are looking for an IT Implementation Project Manager is responsible for planning, coordinating, and delivering technology implementation project for clients. This role ensures that all solutions are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget while meeting quality standards. The Project Manager will collaborate with cross-functional teams including engineering, infrastructure, business stakeholders, partners and vendors.
Responsibilities:
- Engage with clients to gather functional requirements and understand business processes related to building permits and approvals.
- Interpret building bye-laws, development control regulations, and apply them to functional workflows.
- Prepare comprehensive Functional Requirement Documents (FRDs), Use Case documents, and process flow diagrams.
- Coordinate with developers and technical teams to ensure proper implementation of requirements.
- Review system outputs and assist in functional testing and User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
- Analyze CAD drawings and ensure alignment with system validation rules.
- Provide support during implementation, training, and post-deployment activities.
- Maintain clear communication between clients, project managers, and the development team.
- Identify process gaps and suggest improvements for system efficiency.
Mandatory skill sets:
1. Strong understanding of building bye-laws, DCR (Development Control Regulations), and approval procedures.
2. Experience in preparing functional documents, BRDs, FRDs, and workflow diagrams.
3. Ability to read, interpret, and analyze CAD drawings (AutoCAD skills preferred).
4. Basic knowledge of software development processes (SDLC, Agile methodology is a plus).
5. Exposure to municipal e-governance or building permit systems is an added advantage.
Preferred skill sets:
1. Excellent verbal and written communication skills (client-facing role).
