Job Description

Playtika seeks an Innplay - Expert Business Analyst to analyze large datasets representing millions of online/mobile game players' behavior. Responsibilities include providing actionable recommendations based on game data to influence features, game economies, and product roadmaps. The role involves building automated dashboards and reports, defining data specifications for development, managing A/B testing, monitoring game performance, and collaborating with internal departments to enhance game quality, monetization, and retention. The ideal candidate possesses 3+ years of analytical experience (preferably in web/mobile or online gaming), strong SQL skills, a methodological approach to data presentation, advanced Excel and Tableau knowledge, and familiarity with statistical methods.

Responsibilities:

Analyzing large, complex data sets representing the behavior of millions of online and mobile game players to address strategic and operational business questions
Providing actionable recommendations and conclusions from game data to shape features, game economies, and future product roadmaps
Building automated dashboards and reports to facilitate company-wide awareness and understanding of key business metrics and players’ experiences
Defining the required data specifications for the development team.
Managing and analyzing the A/B testing framework.
Continuous monitoring of game performance to identify anomalies.
Working closely with internal departments to drive insights that will help produce better games and that will drive monetization and retention improvements

Requirements:

Must - 3+ years of analytical work experience, preferably for a web or mobile company, or in the online gaming industry
Strong SQL with experience in querying large, complex data sets
A methodological approach to data together with the ability to present the data clearly and efficiently to support business decisions.
Advanced Excel, Tableau, Vertica knowledge – Strong advantage
Familiarity with statistical methods for hypothesis testing.
Advanced knowledge in statistical tools and models (R,Python) - Advantage
High level of analytical and problem-solving skills with strong attention to detail
Great communication skills – someone who can turn complex concepts into actionable recommendations.
A true passion for understanding consumers’ social gaming behavior and tolerance for ambiguity.
BA/B.Sc. in Statistics/Math/Engineering/Economics or another quantitative field
