Job Summary
This internship is within the CEM/Safety team at the Radar Antenna and Structures Competence Center. The main objective is to improve the SYS SAFE EXPERT risk analysis tool, which covers human, material, and environmental risks. The intern will first familiarize themselves with the tool, then identify and compile improvement needs. Subsequently, they will implement these enhancements using C++ with the Qt framework, supported by the software and safety teams, and finally present the updated tool.
Must Have
- Prepare for a bac+4/5 level engineering school training.
- Knowledge of C++, Qt creator, databases, UML diagrams, sequences, classes.
- Familiarize with the SYS SAFE EXPERT tool, its objectives, and operation.
- Determine, list, and compile improvement and development needs for the tool.
- Work on improving the tool through C++ coding (Qt framework) with team support.
- Present the new version of the tool to the team.
Good to Have
- Knowledge of operational safety methods: preliminary risk analyses, FMECA, Fault Trees.

Your daily life
Located 20 minutes from the Paris-Saclay technology hub, the site is one of the largest centers of excellence for surface radars. We contribute to developing, designing, integrating, and testing aerial surveillance radars dedicated to target detection and identification.
This internship is within the CEM/Safety team within the Radar Antenna and Structures Competence Center.
The objective of the internship is to improve our SYS SAFE EXPERT risk analysis tool (human, material, environmental).
Initially, you will familiarize yourself with the tool, its objectives, and its operation.
Then you will determine, list, and compile the needs in terms of improvements and development of the tool.
You will then take charge of C++ coding (Qt framework), and with the support of the software team and the safety team, you will work on its improvement according to what was previously defined.
You will present the new version of the tool to the team.
