Job Summary
As a Client Analyst intern, you will support experienced Analytical Consultants and collaborate with our clients in the FMCG sector. You will assist in preparing analyses and presentations for well-known brands, support the Client Service Online team in setting up and maintaining customer reports, and participate in specific analytical team projects. This role offers valuable first work experience, focusing on market information, brand, and category analysis within a flat, international, and informal organization.
Must Have
- Support experienced Analytical Consultants and collaborate with FMCG clients
- Assist in preparing analyses and presentations for brands in supermarkets, drugstores, gas stations, and liquor stores
- Support Client Service Online team in setting up and maintaining customer reports
- Participate in specific analytical team projects
- Excellent knowledge of Dutch and English
- Relevant bachelor's degree (e.g., Business Economics, Marketing Management) with valid student status in a Dutch institution
- Strong analytical skills
- Good skills in Microsoft Office tools, especially Excel and PowerPoint
- Eye for detail and accuracy
- Full-time availability for 6 months

Job Description
Responsibilities
As a Client Analyst intern, you will support experienced Analytical Consultants and work with our clients in the FMCG industry. You will also:
- assist in preparing analyses and presentations for well-known brands in supermarkets, drugstores, gas stations, and liquor stores. Examples of analyses include category and brand studies on the performance of brands or retailers in terms of sales and market share. In addition, we also explain the "why" question: do sales increase or decrease due to a company's assortment, price, or promotion strategy?;
- support our Client Service Online team in setting up and maintaining customer reports in which we track our clients' performance (e.g., sales, market share, promotional pressure, price level, etc.);
- be part of specific analytical team projects.
Job Requirements
- Excellent knowledge of Dutch and English.
- A relevant bachelor's degree, such as Business Economics/Administration, Marketing Management/Analytics/Intelligence or something similar. You must have a valid student status enrolled at a Dutch educational institution.
- Strong analytical skills.
- Genuine interest in the marketing of food, household, and personal care products (FMCG industry).
- Good skills in Microsoft Office tools, especially Excel and PowerPoint.
- Eye for detail and accuracy.
- Full-time availability for a period of 6 months.
