IT Project Manager
We are seeking an IT Project Manager to join our team at Marsh. This role will be based in Mexico City. This is a hybrid role that has a requirement of working at least three days a week in the office. As an IT Project Manager at Marsh, you will be responsible for planning, directing, and managing the activities pertaining to assigned projects and will be responsible for its deliverables, schedule and overall project quality. Projects will vary in size from medium to large and will require interaction with varying levels internally and externally.
We will count on you to:
- Consult with management and review project proposals to determine project objective and goals, timeframes, funding limitations, procedures for accomplishing project, and required resources.
- Develop, adjust and monitor project plans specifying goals, strategy, scheduling, risks, contingency plans, and allocation of available resources.
- Review and prepare project status reports to keep management informed of project status and related issues.
- Use and manage established standards and procedures for project reporting, documentation, risk management and change management processes.
- Provide technical leadership and managerial direction to designated personnel.
- Ensure that individual and team performance meets ICAT’s standards of service and quality.
- Develop and maintain effective working relationships with all ICAT personnel, business partners, and vendors.
What you need to have:
- A Business Administration in business or related field preferred or equivalent work experience
- 3+ years in cross functional Project Management experience including experience in a software development environment (preferably Waterfall and Agile) and IT Infrastructure projects.
- Experience executing software development projects END to END, from collecting business requirements to executing UAT and production support.
- Proven understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
- Experience developing effective relationships with multiple stakeholders at various levels.
- Must possess strong communication, analysis and reporting skills.
- Able to take ownership of projects and deliver expected results in a minimal direction.
- Advanced Level of English is a Must
