Job Summary

Frima is seeking an IT Technician to join its Information Technology team. This role involves providing technical support for hardware and software, ensuring optimal operation, and delivering quality customer service to production teams. The technician will also be responsible for maintaining the IT infrastructure, installing/reinstalling operating systems and software, documenting activities, managing IT inventories, and actively participating in departmental projects. The position requires a hybrid work model.

Must Have

  • Technical support for optimal hardware and software operation
  • Quality customer service, effectively and proactively responding to production team needs
  • Maintenance of the IT infrastructure
  • Installation/reinstallation of operating systems and software
  • Documentation of all activities in the request management tool
  • Collaboration on resolving complex anomalies or problems with the manager
  • Management and updating of software, hardware, and various IT tool inventories
  • Eventual management of requested IT setups and active participation in department projects
  • All other related tasks to support teams from a technological perspective
  • DEC in computer science or equivalent training and experience
  • Minimum three (3) years of relevant experience
  • Excellent knowledge of operating systems: Windows, MacOS
  • Knowledge of hardware, computer components and ITIL best practices
  • Basic knowledge of TCP/IP networks, cloud computing and Active Directory
  • Knowledge of French and English (written and oral)
  • Willingness to work in hybrid mode

Good to Have

  • Knowledge of technical constraints specific to the video game world (an asset).

Qualifications

What we are looking for

  • Minimum three (3) years of relevant experience;
  • Excellent knowledge of operating systems: Windows, MacOS;
  • Knowledge of hardware, computer components and ITIL best practices;
  • Basic knowledge of TCP/IP networks, cloud computing and Active Directory;
  • Knowledge of French and English (written and oral). English skills are required for the work as we collaborate with English-speaking partners;
  • Knowledge of technical constraints specific to the video game world (an asset).
