Junior Electrical Design Engineer - Mining

WSP is seeking a Junior Electrical Design Engineer for the mining sector. The role involves designing medium and low voltage electrical systems, including power, lighting, and grounding systems, preparing technical specifications and measurements, and creating calculation reports and design plans. Candidates must hold a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering with at least one year of experience in electrical system design within the mining industry. Desirable skills include knowledge of ETAP, DIALUX, and AutoCAD software. The position is full-time and based in Miraflores.

Must Have

• Design of medium and low voltage electrical systems, power, lighting, grounding systems
• Preparation of technical specifications and measurements
• Design of BT and MT power and auxiliary electrical systems
• Design of grounding systems, lighting, atmospheric discharges
• Preparation of calculation reports
• Preparation of project documents such as EETT, Metrado
• Preparation and editing of design plans
• Comply with internal policies and procedures of the Integrated Quality, Environment, and Occupational Health and Safety Management System
• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering
• Minimum 1 year of experience in electrical system design in the mining sector
• Availability to work in person in Miraflores

Good to Have

• Knowledge of software such as ETAP - DIALUX and AutoCAD

Main functions of the position:
