Job Summary

WSP, a leading global professional services firm, is seeking a Senior CDE Design Engineer with over 8 years of experience in designing technical building systems. The role involves designing fire detection, CCTV, structured cabling, and BMS systems, ensuring compliance with technical standards like NFPA and TIA/EIA. The engineer will also be responsible for creating technical drawings and models using Revit and AutoCAD. This is a full-time, hybrid position based in Bogotá D.C., Colombia, offering participation in multidisciplinary projects and a share ownership program.

Must Have

  • Over 8 years of experience in designing technical systems for buildings
  • Experience with fire detection, CCTV, structured cabling, and BMS
  • Proficiency in technical standards (NFPA, TIA/EIA)
  • Advanced proficiency in Revit and AutoCAD
  • Design fire detection systems according to NFPA standards
  • Model CCTV systems in specialized software
  • Design structured cabling under technical standards
  • Integrate BMS systems in automation projects
  • Prepare technical drawings in Revit and AutoCAD

Good to Have

  • Experience in large-scale projects such as hospitals, schools, shopping centers, and large areas

Requirements:

Professional with more than 8 years of experience in the design of technical systems for buildings, including fire detection, CCTV, structured cabling, and BMS. Must have mastery of technical standards (NFPA, TIA/EIA, etc.) and advanced handling of Revit and AutoCAD for the preparation of plans and models. Experience in large-scale projects such as hospitals, schools, shopping centers, and large areas will be valued.

Functions:

  • Design of fire detection systems according to NFPA standards.
  • Modeling of CCTV systems in specialized software.
  • Design of structured cabling under technical standards.
  • Integration of BMS systems in automation projects.
  • Preparation of technical drawings in Revit and AutoCAD.
