WSP, a global consulting and professional services firm, is seeking an Electrical and Instrumentation Designer for Buildings. This role involves developing precise electrical and instrumentation plans and models, ensuring technical accuracy, adherence to standards, and effective coordination with engineering teams. The position requires a technical or university graduate with a minimum of 4 years of experience in relevant projects, committed to creating sustainable environments and fostering diversity and inclusion.

Must Have

  • Elaborate and develop electrical and instrumentation plans and models
  • Ensure technical accuracy and correct application of standards
  • Coordinate with the engineering team and other disciplines
  • Comply with internal policies and procedures for Quality, Environment, and Occupational Health and Safety
  • Technical or university graduate in any specialty
  • Minimum 4 years of experience in electrical and instrumentation projects
  • Availability to work onsite in Miraflores offices

Good to Have

  • Proficiency in AutoCAD 2D and 3D for electrical and instrumentation plans
  • Proficiency in Revit for BIM modeling
  • Knowledge of Autodesk Construction Cloud (ACC) for project management and collaboration
  • Knowledge in interpreting and preparing unifilar diagrams, loop diagrams, wiring, routing, and constructive details plans

Main functions of the position:

  • Elaborate and develop electrical and instrumentation plans and models, ensuring technical accuracy, correct application of standards, and coordination with the engineering team and other disciplines to meet project objectives.
  • Comply with the internal policies and procedures of the Integrated Quality, Environment, and Occupational Health and Safety Management System in the activities performed, among others.

Professional background:

  • Technical graduate in any of its specialties and/or university graduate in any of the careers.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in electrical and instrumentation projects.
  • Desirable with proficiency in AutoCAD 2D and 3D for electrical and instrumentation plans.
  • Desirable with proficiency in Revit for BIM modeling.
  • Desirable with knowledge of Autodesk Construction Cloud (ACC) for project management and collaboration.
  • Desirable with knowledge in the interpretation and preparation of unifilar diagrams, loop diagrams, wiring, routing, and constructive details plans.
  • Availability to work onsite in the Miraflores offices.
