Job Description

As a Junior Level Designer, you will be responsible for building and optimizing levels and actions in an open-world game. You'll collaborate with various departments such as art, code, and design to create unique and memorable graphic environments. Your daily tasks will include assisting in creating, modifying, and debugging game levels, cooperating with a team of specialists, creating amazing environments, and participating in game testing. The role requires a passion for creating games, proactivity, good communication skills, and a willingness to learn and develop skills. Experience with tools like Unity, Unreal, or others is a plus.
Good To Have:

Job Description

As a Junior Level Designer, you will be responsible for building and optimizing levels and actions in an open-world game under the guidance of experienced team members. Working together with other departments like art, code, design and more. You'll have the opportunity to create unique and memorable graphic environment levels.

Your daily tasks:

 

  • Assisting in creating, modifying and debugging game levels within a specified project,
  • Close cooperation with a team of specialists from various fields - art, programming, design, audio, animation, etc.,
  • Creating amazing environments for our players,
  • Participating in game testing, checking levels for gameplay issues, bugs, and other problems.

Qualifications

  • Passion for creating games
  • Proactivity and initiative to solve problems without waiting for detailed instructions
  • Flexibility and adaptability to change
  • Determination and persistence when facing obstacles.
  • Eagerness to learn and develop your skills
  • Very good communication and collaboration skills,
  • Fluent in English
  • Eagerness to design and create a playable environment, engaging and understandable to the player, offering diverse gameplay,
  • Basic skills in using Techland's DevTools,
  • Continual development within our tools, techniques, and industry practices


Nice to have:

  • Basic knowledge of architecture,
  • Artistic skills (drawing, painting, modeling, etc.).
  • Experience with such technologies as Unity, Unreal, RedKit, Cryengine, RoadHog.
