Job Description

Motorola Solutions is seeking a Key Account Manager for France to manage existing business and develop new opportunities within assigned Named Accounts. This role involves formulating winning sales strategies, identifying and closing leads, and driving sales engagements with vertical prospects and current customers. The successful candidate will be accountable for an annual sales plan, grow the install base, and maintain accurate sales forecasts. Strong cooperation with channel and ISV partners is essential to strengthen solution propositions and ensure full customer coverage, contributing to the company's mission of building a safer future.
Must Have:
  • Formulate a winning sales strategy
  • Identify, qualify and close leads and sales opportunities within the assigned scope
  • Drive sales engagements with all vertical prospects and current customer base
  • Be accountable for an annual sales plan and execute to a stretch goal
  • Grow the install base of key existing accounts
  • Maintain an accurate weekly forecast of all sales activity within the pipeline
  • Develop and maintain relationships at multiple levels within all assigned accounts
  • Ensure customer communication is clear, concise, and in-line with company direction
  • Coordinate sales activity with Pre-Sales Technical Architecture (TA) and Channel Account Management teams
  • At least 5 years experience in sales or business development in IT, Telecommunication, or Enterprise Mobility sector
  • Good overall technical understanding of Motorola Solutions Portfolio products and solutions
  • Fluent English
  • Experience of developing customer base
  • Proven track record in overachieving quotas
  • Negotiation Skills at different levels of Customers organization
  • Ability to prospect and quickly qualify new sales opportunities
  • Effective time-management
  • Proficiency with Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook

Job Description

Motorola Solutions need to have strong presence in its core country markets and is a world leader in many of its solution areas.

The successful candidate will be required to manage the existing business in the assigned Named Accounts List (NAL), as well as developing new opportunities. This will require strong cooperation with our large channel & ISV partner eco-system to strengthen the overall solution proposition, leveraging these partner relationships to ensure full customer coverage.

  • Formulate a winning sales strategy. Identify, qualify and close leads and sales opportunities within the assigned scope
  • Drive the sales engagements with all vertical prospects and current customer base within the assigned territory to execute the plan.
  • Be accountable for an annual sales plan and able to articulate your current status and ability to execute to a stretch goal.
  • Grow the install base of key existing accounts within the assigned territory.
  • Maintaining an accurate weekly forecast of all sales activity within the pipeline.
  • Development and maintenance of relationships at multiple levels within all accounts assigned.
  • Responsible for ensuring that customer communication is at all times, clear concise and in-line with company direction.
  • Sales activity requires full coordination with our Pre-Sales Technical Architecture (TA) and Channel Account Management teams. The ability to work as part of a wider team is essential.

Basic Requirements

  • At least 5 yrs experience in similar position (sales and / or sales management or business development) in a relevant company within the IT, Telecommunication and Enterprise Mobility sector
  • A good overall technical understanding of the products and solutions within the Motorola Solutions Portfolio
  • Fluent English
  • Experience of developing customer base
  • A proven track record in overachieving quotas. Able to work for getting the numbers under pressure
  • Negotiation Skills at different level of Customers organization
  • Ability to prospect and quickly qualify the new sales opportunities. Effective time-management. Able to plan and organize the sales and sales back office staff.
  • Communication Skills (verbal, written) and presentation skills so s/he transmits with impact.
  • Deep understanding of key business metrics with channels and their effect in vendor performance (revenues, returns, inventory…)
  • Able to engage the most senior level of Customers and Partners (GM, CEOs…)
  • Proficiency with computer software such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook required.
