Job Description

Larian Studios seeks a Lead Systems Administrator to manage a team of 8+ engineers, overseeing sysadmin operations, IT ticketing, and Office365 environments. Responsibilities include Intune management, new hire onboarding, team training, infrastructure administration (local and global), best practice development, and expert technical support. The role involves close collaboration with IT management, participation in change management, troubleshooting, backup/storage management, monitoring, infrastructure upgrades/migrations, and ensuring IT security compliance. Experience with ITSM, Windows systems, cloud infrastructure (AWS/Azure), Intune deployment, virtualized infrastructure, and Google Workplace/Atlassian Suite is required. Flexibility is needed for infrastructure upgrades and migrations.

Responsibilities

    • Managing sysadmin operations team - 8+ engineers
    • Managing the IT ticketing system, ensuring all tickets are assigned and tracked under SLA
    • Manage Office365 environment, ensuring optimal setup, maintenance, and troubleshooting practices.
    • Utilise Intune for mobile device management and application deployment across the organisation
    • Onboarding and guiding new hires
    • Training the sysadmin team on IT infrastructure/systems
    • Manage and administer the local and global infrastructure
    • Develop best practices and ensure documentation is up to date
    • Provide expert technical support, guidance and training to team members and end-users
    • Work closely with the IT management team on managing the IT Roadmap
    • Participate in change management workflow
    • Troubleshoot and remediate issues impacting server availability
    • Manage backup and storage infrastructure
    • Manage and maintain monitoring to ensure systems uptime and reliability
    • Participate in infrastructure upgrades and migrations 
    • Ensure adherence to IT security standards and best practices

Requirements

    • Experience with ITSM
    • Knowledge of Windows Systems (Client and Server)
    • Experienced in Cloud infrastructure AWS/AZURE
    • Experience with Intune deployment
    • Troubleshooting skills
    • Experience managing a virtualized infrastructure
    • Experience with Google Workplace, Office365, Atlassian Suite
    • Understanding of networking concepts (WAN,LAN,TCP/IP,VPN,VLAN)
    • Working hours flexibility around infrastructure upgrades and migrations
