The Commercial Enablement and Learning team is a multidisciplinary team dedicated to training and learning, sales content guidance and management as well as leading sales programs that increases the effectiveness and efficiency of the commercial organization. We are hiring a Learning Content Developer to help build and deliver best-in-class learning experiences for the commercial team.
This role will be responsible for the design and development of a diverse set of learning materials to support the Commercial (but not limited to) organization. This individual will partner closely with SMEs to translate business intent into engaging learning materials, with a focus (though not exclusively) on digital-first learning methods. This individual will analyze learning needs, design and develop blended learning solutions from raw materials, and measure and report out on learning effectiveness. They will script videos, storyboard e-Learning courses, structure simulations, create digital games, and much more. We need cutting-edge design with a balance of digital content customized to our Fortrea’s learner experience. ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Manage learning solution projects of low-to-moderate complexity including creating and executing the course design. Manage multiple projects and resources simultaneously, ensuring timely delivery of high-quality learning content. Develop and execute project timelines, milestones, and deliverables.
Develop learning content

Build a comprehensive Commercial eLearning program for Fortrea; excited by the opportunity to drive execution of materials to support revenue sales growth.

Design and develop curriculum, programs, learning materials, and performance support tools from a blank slate (including self-study, classroom, eLearning, etc.) based on industry design standards for a given modality (includes traditional, web, and mobile design)

Collaborate with SMEs to design the right learning experiences, including conducting learning needs assessments, building learning personas, and learning goals.

Partner directly with subject matter experts to design and develop engaging experiences for a variety of audiences and delivery modes (live, e-learning, asynchronous) with clear strategies and tactics to achieve desired learning outcomes.

Lead all phases of the learning design process to identify needs, define objectives, design the experience, develop content, document results, and maintain program curriculum.

Define and report out metrics that assess learning effectiveness and/or opportunities.

Partner closely with other Learning professionals on the team (and across Fortrea) to ensure learning experiences are fun, engaging, and help the commercial team adopt new skills and abilities.

Partner with and communicate effectively, so that stakeholders, teammates, and leadership understand timelines and milestones.
Provide support for training events, as required

Producer for virtual learning sessions and assistance to instructors and participants during live sessions, and resolve/escalate any technical or logistical issues as appropriate

Track attendance during training events and send to learning Operations for entry into LMS, as required

Collect training feedback per Commercial Enablement and Global Learning & Change Management metric processes and standards and disseminate responses to appropriate groups, as requested

Deliver training and/or support SMEs providing training, as needed
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
Qualifications

Required: Bachelor’s degree
-
Preferred: Degree or certification in instructional design, education, training, facilitation or related field of study
Experience
-
Minimum 5 years of related experience, with minimum 1 year of experience developing learning solutions (e.g., e-learning, instructor led courses, documents, exams, etc.); experience managing multiple low-medium complexity learning solution projects at once and experience coordinating events

Knowledge of adult learning principles, facilitation, and learner-centered activities; experience managing / liaising with outsourced vendors to develop and/or provide learning content

Experience developing blended learning solutions for different learning modalities (e.g., e-learning, classroom training, virtual training, etc.)

Knowledge of mobile learning requirements

Knowledge of social learning concepts and application

Experience in e-learning standards and LMS courseware integration with AICC and SCORM;

Knowledge of emerging and progressive content development tools and techniques, and generative AI

Experience with content authoring tools / development technologies (e.g., Articulate, Adobe Captivate, HTML, Vyond, Powtoon, Synthesia, SketchWow, WellSaidetc.)

Knowledge or experience in creating reusable content / learning assets

This role will need to be in the office for in-person collaboration at 4 - 8 times/month (as required), more frequently in the initial months.
