Summary

Lighting Artist responsible for in-game and cutscene lighting. Requires experience in physics-based rendering, scene mood determination (including post-process effects), and directing lighting effects. Game completion experience as a lighting artist is preferred, but new graduates or those without industry experience are encouraged to apply, emphasizing their relevant skills. Responsibilities include creating and implementing lighting for various game scenes, ensuring visual quality and performance optimization. Proficiency in relevant software is essential. The role is full-time, located in Minato-ku, Tokyo, Japan (near Shinagawa Station), and offers a discretionary labor system with standard work hours starting at 10:00 AM.
Must have:

  • Extensive knowledge of lighting technology and rendering in CG
  • Practical experience in game production using Maya
  • Knowledge and experience of performance optimization in-game engine rendering

Eligibility

  • Those who have experience coding in a physics-based rendering environment
  • Have experience in determining the mood of a scene, including in post-process, and directing the lighting effects
  • Game completion experience for at least one title as a lighting artist

For new graduates, there is no need to meet all of the eligibility requirements. 
For those with no experience in the industry, it is not necessary to meet all of the eligibility requirements, but please appeal mainly with your abilities to compensate for this. 

Desirable experiences, etc. (not required)
