VGW is seeking a Live Operations Specialist to join their Marketing team in Perth. This role focuses on driving the strategic delivery and continuous optimisation of Live Operations initiatives and campaigns. The specialist will collaborate with Marketing, Product, and Insights teams to create dynamic, engaging, and rewarding player experiences, enhancing enjoyment and strengthening engagement through various events and campaigns.

  • Define and implement QA standards for live events and promotional content
  • Lead deep-dive analysis of Live Operations campaigns and present insights
  • Drive continuous innovation through analysis, testing and player segmentation

We're looking for a Live Operations Specialist to join our Marketing team based in Perth.

The purpose of the Live Operations Specialist is to play a key part in driving the strategic delivery and continuous optimisation of Live Operations initiatives and campaigns. Working closely with the Marketing, Product and Insights teams, the Live Operations Specialist contributes to creating dynamic, engaging, and rewarding experiences that enhance player enjoyment and strengthen engagement.

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Strategise, plan and create engaging Live Operations calendars that utilise a range of engaging Live Operations events and campaigns.
  • Design, create, monitor and optimise Live Operations events and campaigns, including tournaments, challenges, quests and offers.
  • Collaborate closely with Marketing, Insights and Product teams to design and execute sophisticated A/B and multivariate tests to optimise player engagement and monetisation.
  • Contribute to and communicate multi-month live operations roadmaps and asset testing plans to key stakeholders.
  • Define and implement QA standards for the creation, documentation and quality assurance of live events and promotional content to ensure a seamless player experience.
  • Lead deep-dive analysis of Live Operations campaigns, operations performance metrics and present actionable insights and recommendations to leadership and cross-functional teams.
  • Drive continuous innovation through rigorous analysis, testing and player segmentation in collaboration with Insights teams.

What you will bring to the role:

  • 3+ years experience in digital operations, gaming experience is highly desirable.
  • Expertise in strategic planning with experience in schedule, budget and campaign management.
  • Experience in live operations, with a strong focus on driving monetisation and retention through live campaigns & optimisations.
  • Analytical skills and experience with data analysis, statistics and experimentation methods including A/B testing.
  • Creative problem solver with a strong innovation mindset.
  • Sound understanding of performance metrics and player motivations.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Proficient in workflow and project management tools (e.g. Jira, Confluence, Asana, Slack, Office, GSuite) and customer engagement platforms. Bonus points for Braze.
