Job Description

The Maintenance Technician at Valeo Lighting Systems in Chrzanów will be responsible for ensuring the reliability of the machine park, participating in the industrialization of new machines, and actively contributing to continuous improvement projects. Key tasks include fault analysis, preventive actions, technical documentation, and supporting EHS initiatives. The role requires at least 2 years of experience in maintenance or automation, SEP G1 authorization, and knowledge of pneumatics, industrial automation, and sensor operation.
Good To Have:
  • Basic knowledge of PLC controllers (experience in diagnostics and operation welcome)
Must Have:
  • Participation in the industrialization process of new machines and processes (implementing VSDP/IPROM standards, cooperation with the engineering department)
  • Ensuring the reliability of the machine park – failure analysis, preventive actions, technical documentation
  • Active participation in continuous improvement projects (TPM, Kaizen, QRQC, PDCA, 5Why, FMEA)
  • Supporting EHS and environmental initiatives – risk assessment, implementation of preventive actions
  • Monitoring and optimizing maintenance costs
  • At least 2 years of experience in Maintenance Department or in automation/production area
  • SEP G1 authorization for operation of electrical devices
  • Knowledge of pneumatics and industrial automation systems
  • Knowledge of sensor operation (inductive, optical, capacitive)
  • Ability to diagnose and remove machine faults (analysis, identification of the problematic element)
  • Ability to read electrical diagrams and technical documentation (in English)
  • Readiness for shift work and cooperation with the production team

The Lighting Systems Production Plant in Chrzanów manufactures rear and front lamps for passenger cars using advanced metallization, assembly, and plastic injection technologies. Additionally, the plant has a fully equipped measurement laboratory with a unique photometric research tunnel. Due to the development of new projects, a modern Development Center has been opened in Chrzanów, which will focus on designing and producing innovative lighting systems dedicated to passenger cars.

Currently, for our Valeo Lighting Systems plant in Chrzanów, we are recruiting for the position of Maintenance Technician.

Your tasks will include:

  • Participation in the industrialization process of new machines and processes (implementing VSDP/IPROM standards, cooperation with the engineering department)
