You will be responsible for the manga editing operations for Cygames' manga app 'Cycomi'. This role involves comprehensive editing tasks, including the planning and conceptualization of new manga series, as well as the crucial work of discovering and recruiting talented artists. You will play a key role in shaping the content and direction of manga published on the platform, ensuring high-quality and engaging stories for readers. This position requires a proactive approach to content development and a keen eye for talent in the manga industry.

Must Have

• 1+ years of manga editing experience
• Experience launching serialized manga works (original or comic adaptation)

Good to Have

• Editing experience for weekly serialized manga (magazine or web)
• Proficiency in Adobe Photoshop, Word, and Excel

Annual salary 4 million JPY to 10 million JPY

• Determined according to our company regulations, considering experience and ability.
• May also be a contract employee.
• Semi-annual performance incentive system in addition to annual salary.
• Annual salary includes prescribed overtime work allowance and late-night work allowance. Paid regardless of the presence of overtime work.
• Annual salary examples:
• 5.4 million JPY / 27 years old
• 6 million JPY / 30 years old
• 7.6 million JPY / 38 years old

Working Hours

10:00~19:00 (8 hours of prescribed work)

Break time 60 minutes (13:00~14:00)

• Average monthly overtime: Approximately 18 hours (2023 results)

Required Conditions

• At least 1 year of manga editing experience.
• Experience launching serialized works, whether original or comic adaptation.

Preferred Conditions

• Editing experience for weekly serialized manga, regardless of magazine or web medium.
• Experience using Adobe Photoshop, Word, Excel.

• High communication skills to facilitate smooth interactions with related departments.
• Ability to perform tasks punctually and diligently.
