Job Description

This role involves providing comprehensive support for the entire sound team's hardware, software tools, and PCs. Responsibilities include managing in-house studios, selecting, ordering, and managing equipment, and offering various technical support. Key tasks range from introducing and verifying sound equipment to handling PC and equipment troubleshooting for the sound team, and providing overall back-office support.
Must have:
  • Support sound team's hardware, software, and PCs.

  • Experience with DAW (Pro Tools, Nuendo).

  • Experience with Windows server setup/operation.
  • Help desk experience for internal systems, especially PC issues.
  • Knowledge/experience with databases (MSSQL, MySQL).
  • Experience with CRI ADX2, Wwise, FMOD support.

You will be responsible for supporting the entire sound team regarding hardware equipment, software tools, and all PCs.

Additionally, you will be involved in a wide range of tasks from managing in-house studios, selecting/ordering/managing equipment, to providing various technical support.

[Basic Operations]

  • Introduction (purchase) / verification / management of sound equipment (hardware/software).
  • Setup / operation management of sound equipment (hardware).
  • Setup / operation management of sound equipment (software).
  • Liaison with sound equipment distributors and manufacturers.
  • Operation management of in-house studios and recording rooms.
  • Operation management / maintenance of library servers.
  • Selection / introduction / operation support for equipment for external events.
  • PC and equipment troubleshooting for sound team staff.
  • Back-office support for the entire sound team (coordination with other departments).

10:00~19:00 (8 hours of scheduled work)

Required Conditions

[Sound] (2 or more of the following)

  • Experience using DAW for work or personal projects, especially Pro Tools, Nuendo.
  • Broad knowledge of music in general, such as experience playing musical instruments.
  • Knowledge of sound equipment (hardware, software), especially licenses and Plugins (Vst, AU, AAX, RTAS).
  • Sales / support experience for sound equipment (hardware, software).
  • Assistant work experience in the music industry, including recording studios.

[System] (1 or more of the following)

  • Experience using both Windows and Mac PCs.
  • Introduction / operation of Windows servers.
  • Help desk experience for in-house systems, especially dealing with PC troubles.
  • Knowledge / experience with databases (MSSQL, MySQL).
  • In-house support experience for CRI ADX2, Wwise, FMOD.
