Hi, we’re Storygrounds!
We are founded by a team of humans who have worked within entertainment and games for decades, and we have some thoughts. During our time within these worlds, we’ve come to realize the creative process is broken. Being story lovers through mediums such as games, comics, novels, and entertainment, has sparked a desire to bring the love of the story-telling process back to the communities who love them.

Storygrounds was born from our desire to make collaborative storytelling easier, more fun, and super social. We want to provide communities with the tools they need to tell stories and build worlds together through webcomics.
ABOUT THE ROLE
We are looking for a Marketing Producer to join our Comms & Marketing team! In this role, you will work closely with our leadership team, as we develop and schedule content for the debut and series run of webcomic series for our Storygrounds Creators!
The ideal teammate would be a communicative and organized self-starter. We’re a strong team, but we’re a small team. You will have the full support of our team during the start and production of social and marketing content, but you will need someone who can own this pipeline. This means high EQ and the ability to make many independent choices quickly.
As a platform, Storygrounds is exploring new ways for creators and their fan communities to connect in more collaborative and impactful ways. You will be a pioneer in helping to make the webcomic space more connected and fruitful for all.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Partner with our leadership team and external creative teams to produce top-notch creative assets (video, image, copy) for social and marketing purposes.
- Help build a streamlined production pipeline for marketing & social creative assets.
- Manage the production of creative assets across 10+ different Webcomics.
- Own the communication between our Webcomic creators and our internal team regarding creative asset pushes.
- In partnership with our content manager, develop a release schedule for marketing and social content for each of our Webcomics.
- Manage the editorial calendar for creative assets, ensuring a consistent and timely flow of content that supports marketing campaigns and initiatives.
- With the team's support, help develop and execute content distribution strategies to maximize reach and engagement across owned channels.
- Analyze content performance metrics and refine strategies to improve engagement and reach.
QUALIFICATIONS
- 3+ years of content marketing experience, preferably in entertainment such as digital products (ex. video games, webcomics, film) and consumer goods (ex. books, comics).
- Proficiency in content management systems (CMS) and marketing automation tools.
- Experience with static and video content creation, copywriting, asset creation pipelines, and understanding of multimedia storytelling.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively across teams and levels.
- Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt to changing priorities.
- A passion for Webcomics, comics, Graphic Novels, Manga, Manhua, and Manhwas!
