2K Global Services is seeking a Motion Capture Scenic Fabricator to join their team. This role involves constructing props and set pieces for stage use, troubleshooting complex builds, and maintaining shop organization. The ideal candidate will be proficient with various power tools and materials, adaptable to sudden requests, and able to thrive in a fast-paced, multi-project environment. They will also be responsible for equipment and prop storage, ensuring a safe and professional work environment for game developers and talent.

Must Have

• 2 years carpentry or scenic/prop building experience
• 1+ years of other fabrication experience (metal work, upholstery, sewing, 3D printing, CNC operating)
• Ability to lift 65lbs
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
• Working knowledge of email and Microsoft Office Suite
• Ability to construct props and set pieces for stage use
• Ability to troubleshoot complicated builds, especially stunt builds
• Ability to read and interpret build designs
• Ability to operate a variety of man lifts including scissor lifts and order picker

Good to Have

• Experience with performance-based builds such as Theatre/Film
• Experience with metal, plastic, fabric, puppets, and paint
• Experience and interest with other production disciplines: 3D printing, CNC, Robotics, Machining, Rigging, Electrics
• Knowledge of Fusion, Jira and Mocap pipelines

We are looking to bring in a new fabricator for our demanding shoot schedule.

What We Need

A fabricator who is safe and comfortable using various power tools, materials and building techniques. Willing to adapt to sudden requests and diligently follow build requirements. Someone who can thrive in a fast-paced environment driven by multiple projects each with their own specific needs. A fabricator comfortable maintaining equipment and prop storage practices even at the busiest time. Past work in a theatre/film production and/or motion capture is a major plus.

Basic Qualifications

• 2 years carpentry or scenic/prop building experience

• Must be dependable and flexible to work on studio/shop needs
• Able to lift 65lbs

• Working knowledge of email and Microsoft office suit

The pay range for this position in California at the start of employment is expected to be between $78,900 and $116,760 per Year. However, base pay offered is based on market location, and may vary further depending on individualized factors for job candidates, such as job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and other objective business considerations. Subject to those same considerations, the total compensation package for this position may also include other elements, including a bonus and/or equity awards and eligibility to participate in our 401(K) plan and Employee Stock Purchase Program.
