Job Summary
Gravity Media is seeking a motivated, precise Video Technician Intern to join their Outside Broadcast team in a stimulating training program. The intern will support senior Engineers in Charge (EIC) in understanding onsite production workflows, assisting with equipment maintenance, monitoring IT systems, collaborating on technical fault resolution, supporting technical direction, and configuring audio-video equipment for live events. This full-time, extracurricular internship is based in Cologno Monzese, Milan.
Must Have
- Support understanding of onsite production workflow
- Assist in maintenance and preparation of electronic equipment and video material
- Participate in analysis and monitoring of onboard IT systems
- Collaborate in maintenance activities, intervening in case of faults or technical anomalies
- Support technical direction, contributing to communication between departments
- Support configuration of audio-video equipment
- Degree/Diploma in electronics, IT and telecommunications or related disciplines
- Good knowledge of English (B1/B2) written and spoken
- Analytical attitude, precision, problem solving
- Ability to work in a team
- Passion for sport and technology
Good to Have
- Knowledge of network systems such as Cisco and similar

Video Technician Intern
- Location: Cologno Monzese (MI)
- Hours: Full Time (40h weekly)
- Contract: Extracurricular internship
We specialize in live event productions using OB Van (Outside Broadcasting Van), a television control room used for live music, sports, and entertainment events.
Our fleet of mobile vehicles consists of 5 OB vans of different sizes, equipped with the best broadcast technologies that can meet all production needs for filming large events.
We are looking for a motivated, precise, challenge-loving Video Technician to join a training internship program in a stimulating environment within the OB Van team. The resource will support our Engineers in Charge (EIC), professionals with many years of experience in the sector.
Main Responsibilities:
- Support in understanding the workflow of an onsite production, with mentoring from senior figures to familiarize with operational phases and workflows.
- Assistance in the maintenance and preparation of electronic equipment and video material.
- Participation in the analysis and monitoring of onboard IT systems, with the aim of acquiring technical skills in real contexts.
- Collaboration in maintenance activities, intervening in case of faults or technical anomalies, with the support of the team to ensure continuity of transmission.
- Support for technical direction, contributing to communication between departments to maintain high quality standards in production.
- Support for the configuration of audio-video equipment, following specific instructions for setting up cameras, mixers, and transmission systems.
Required Skills:
- Degree/Diploma in electronics, IT and telecommunications or related disciplines
- Good knowledge of English (B1/B2) written and spoken
- Knowledge of network systems such as Cisco and similar is preferred
- Knowledge of fiber optic systems
- Analytical attitude, precision, problem solving
- Ability to work in a team
- Passion for sport and technology
What we offer:
