Job Description

The Infrastructure department of our global network team is looking for a Network Administrator to bring their expertise to a dynamic team of video game and technology enthusiasts. As a Network Administrator, you will be responsible for the installation and maintenance of IT solutions and services, as well as proposing improvements and optimizations to the current infrastructure. As a senior administrator, you will also be responsible for resolving complex issues escalated by our partners.
Must Have:
  • Install, configure, and maintain network equipment (switches, routers, firewalls, load balancers).
  • Deploy and support private network links and dedicated peering connections.
  • Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize network infrastructure and services.
  • Apply network security policies and procedures.
  • Perform proactive network capacity planning and management.
  • Automate to improve operational efficiency and consistency.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of network hardware, software, and configurations.
  • Contribute to defining network standards, guidelines, and best practices.
  • Participate in technical needs assessment and support design efforts.
  • Provide user support and mentor team members, including new colleagues.
  • Proven senior-level experience in advanced routing (BGP, OSPF) and switching technologies (VLAN, STP, EtherChannel, VTP, Layer 2/3 protocols).
  • Strong experience in troubleshooting and resolving complex problems in production environments.
  • Demonstrated ability to design and implement automation solutions with Python and Ansible.
  • Practical experience integrating automation into CI/CD pipelines.
  • In-depth practical understanding of Linux environments, with advanced command-line expertise.
  • Knowledge of system-level networking.
  • Extensive knowledge of infrastructure ecosystems, including storage virtualization and cloud computing (private and public).

As a Network Administrator, you will be responsible for the installation and maintenance of IT solutions and services, as well as proposing improvements and optimizations to the current infrastructure. As a senior administrator, you will also be responsible for resolving complex issues escalated by our partners.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Demonstrated ability to design and implement automation solutions with Python and Ansible, including practical experience integrating into CI/CD pipelines.
  • In-depth practical understanding of Linux environments, with advanced command-line expertise and system-level networking knowledge.
  • Extensive knowledge of infrastructure ecosystems, including storage virtualization and cloud computing (private and public).
  • Ability to simplify complex technical concepts to make them clear and accessible to stakeholders at all levels, including management.
  • Proactivity in identifying risks and dependencies, escalating governance or prioritization concerns, and contributing to operational clarity and strategic decisions.
