Role Overview
As an Operations Manager, you will act as the backbone of our organization—supporting financial planning, streamlining processes, and ensuring effective communication across teams and stakeholders. You will play a vital role in aligning company strategy with operations, working with both internal departments and external partners to drive efficiency and growth.
This is an on-site role based at our office in the Hoogvliet/Rotterdam. Remote work is not possible. The position may also require occasional international travel to meet with partners, subsidiaries, or government and legal entities.
Key Responsibilities
- Financial Support: Assist the finance team with budget creation, tracking, and control to ensure effective resource allocation.
- Contracts: Negotiate, draft, and maintain contracts with external partners, vendors, and stakeholders.
- Process & Systems Management: Implement, maintain, and optimize processes and tools, introducing new systems where needed.
- Communication & Liaison: Serve as a key communication point between management, government entities, legal advisors, international partners, daughter companies, and internal/external teams.
- Data Analysis: Maintain accurate operational data and perform analysis to support decision-making.
- Reporting: Create high-level reports for management, highlighting progress, risks, and opportunities.
- Forecasting: Support sales forecasting and wishlisting analysis to guide business strategy.
- Cross-Departmental Support: Provide operational assistance to all departments, ensuring alignment with overall company goals.
Qualifications & Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, Finance, or a related field.
- Proven experience in an operations, project management, or business support role (preferably within gaming, tech, or entertainment industries).
- Strong knowledge of budgeting, forecasting, and reporting.
- Experience with contract negotiation and management.
- Excellent skills in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel (pivot tables, financial modeling, and data analysis).
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with fluency in English (both written and verbal). Dutch proficiency is a plus.
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, and adaptable to a fast-paced, creative environment.
- Ability to work independently while fostering collaboration across teams.
