Job Description

As a member of the Stores department team, working on the 08:00-16:00 shift (38 hours/week) Monday to Friday, you will be responsible for assisting in the continuous smooth flow of components throughout the business. You will assist in all areas in line with business needs, processing all relevant paperwork in a timely and accurate manner, and ensuring accuracy with stocktaking. You will also maintain all Company equipment used during working hours to the required level.
Must have:
  • Ability to read drawings
  • Team player with a positive can-do attitude
  • Practical, hands on
  • Have good communication skills
  • Willing to work flexibly
  • Attention to good Housekeeping
  • Full clean UK drivers licence
Good to have:
  • Warehouse background desirable but not essential

  • PPE supplied; safety glasses, ear protection, overalls gloves, safety boots (and visors where relevant)
  • Fork truck training will be provided

Who will you be working with

Bearward Engineering is a Northampton based firm manufacturing radiators for the power generation industry.

How will you make a difference?

As a member of the Stores department team, working on the 08:00-16:00 shift (38 hours/week) Monday to Friday, you will be responsible for assisting in the continuous smooth flow of components throughout the business. Assisting in all areas inline with business needs, processing all relevant paperwork in a timely and accurate manner, accuracy with stocktaking. Maintaining all Company equipment used during working hours to level required. PPE supplied; safety glasses, ear protection, overalls gloves, safety boots (and visors where relevant). Fork truck training will be provided.

You may also be asked to perform other duties outside of your function or trade, for which adequate training will be provided if necessary.
