Job Summary

As an Order Management Engineer at Quest Global, you will be responsible for managing customer service duties, including direct inquiries, communications, problem resolution, quoting, and order management. You will coordinate with internal and external customers, ensuring product knowledge and managing orders from receipt to invoicing. This role involves reviewing transactions, collaborating with product line managers and engineering, and coordinating daily activities across various departments to meet customer commitments. You will also handle expediting orders, scheduling subcontract services, and maintaining strong customer relationships.

Must Have

  • Coordinate with internal and external customers demonstrating product knowledge
  • Manage details of customer orders from receipt through invoicing
  • Review transactions for completeness and accuracy
  • Work closely with product line managers and engineering to determine technical scope of work
  • Coordinate daily activities with operations, quality, engineering, shipping/receiving
  • Expediting of orders or proposals for customers as necessary
  • Maintain positive customer and interpersonal relationships
  • Provide customer correspondence such as schedule updates, quality issues, clarification of scopes of work
  • Create/provide reports on customer centered metrics to upper management
  • Create work instructions and SOPs of process and standards specific to plant
  • Bachelor’s Degree (BS/BA) in related discipline, or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • 2+ years of experience involving Customer interaction, coordination of work prioritization
  • Successful demonstration of ability to work independently and with teams
  • Very good grasp of Microsoft office programs
  • Basic knowledge of ERP systems
  • Good verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent, demonstrated experience with computers and Microsoft Office software
  • Strong problem solving and analytical skills
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Requires strong communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Requires strict confidentiality in dealing with sensitive, private information
  • Possesses high professional ethics, dependability, good judgement, and ability to take decisive action

As an Order Management engineer you will perform duties related to customer service including but not limited to direct customer inquiries, communications, problem resolution, quoting and order management.

What You will Do:

  • Coordinate with internal and external customers demonstrating product knowledge
  • Manage details of customer orders from receipt through invoicing.
  • Review transactions for completeness and accuracy
  • Work closely with product line managers and engineering to determine technical scope of work for orders placed on plant
  • Coordinates daily activities with operations, quality, engineering, shipping/receiving to ensure orders are progressing to meet customer commitments.
  • Expediting of orders or proposals for customers as necessary.
  • Works with purchasing in scheduling requests for subcontract services at supplier facilities.
  • Maintain positive customer and interpersonal relationships, including telephone, correspondence and customer visits as required.
  • Provide customer correspondence such as schedule updates, quality issues, clarification of scopes of work and any/all information impacting customer deliveries.
  • Create/provide reports on customer centered metrics to upper management.
  • Create work instructions and SOPs of process and standards specific to plant
  • Perform other duties as directed.

What You Will Bring:

  • Bachelor’s Degree (BS/BA) in related discipline, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • 2+ plus years of experience involving Customer interaction, coordination of work prioritization and successful demonstration of ability to work independently and with teams.
  • Candidates must have a very good grasp of Microsoft office programs and have basic knowledge of ERP systems. Experience in SAP a plus.
  • Candidates must have good verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent, demonstrated experience with computers and Microsoft Office software.

Pay Range: ($60K to $70K)

Compensation decisions are made based on factors including experience, skills, education, and other job-related factors, in accordance with our internal pay structure. We also offer a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, paid time off, and retirement plan.
