Paid Internship - Junior Account Manager for Pan European Desk

ING offers a unique paid internship for two Junior Account Managers to join the Pan European Service Desk (PED) Client Services Business Unit. This role provides a meaningful learning experience in the banking industry, supporting experienced Account Managers with large ING Wholesale banking clients. Interns will assist with tasks like audits, bank statements, and internal projects, with training provided. The internship is part-time (20 hours weekly) for 6-12 months, with the possibility of a full-time contract after one year.

ING internship gives you the opportunity for career exploration and development, and to learn new skills. We are growing and need all hands-on deck. We are looking for 2 interns who are reliable, smart, and able to learn fast and can assist our experienced Account Managers in their work with large ING Wholesale banking clients. In return, we offer a paid internship with the possibility to learn and grow. After 1 year, the internship can result in a full-time position with other benefits.

You will be supporting the Pan European Service Desk (PED) Client Services Business Unit. You can experience how we redefined and revolutionized the banking experience for large corporate clients of ING with a pioneering spirit and can-do approach. We started as a small, young, and dynamic team with 3 Account Managers who performed a pilot project to see if we, as ING, could provide a premium level of service for top ING clients by giving them a Single Entry Point for all their daily activities. This was a real game changer for large corporate clients as before they had to contact different branches all around Europe. Things picked up from there rather quickly. We established PED as an international branch which provides premium service for our top segmented corporate clients. Making us part of the future of Corporate Banking!

Tasks and responsibilities of an Account Manager at ING’s Pan European Service Desk:

• Working closely with an Account manager on selected tasks
• Working on Audits, Bank Statement, Work Items, Channel Requests, Proof of Payment (training will be provided)
• Post handling
• Help with internal projects
