Job Summary

MINIT SLOVAKIA is seeking an enthusiastic Production Manager to join their team in Kostolné Kračany. The role involves overseeing the quantity and quality of manufactured goods, managing production shifts and employees, controlling attendance, and ensuring compliance with company standards and technological procedures. The manager will also be responsible for daily and weekly reporting, raw material handling, and collaborating with quality controllers. This position requires a minimum of 3 years of leadership experience and involves working in a 3-shift system, with occasional 12-hour shifts and Saturday work.

Must Have

  • Responsibility for quantity and quality of manufactured goods
  • Employee distribution to individual shifts
  • Attendance control, including approving holidays and checking breaks
  • Control and management of line leaders and washing machine employees
  • Daily and weekly reporting for internal needs and production evaluation
  • Ensuring compliance with company standards and technological procedures
  • Ensuring employee training on machine and equipment operation
  • Participation in work meetings
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in a leadership position
  • Slovak language (B2)
  • Hungarian language (B2)

Good to Have

We are looking for an enthusiastic colleague who wants to join our MINIT team, likes big challenges and has experience in achieving significant and measurable results. Your task will be:

  • responsibility for the quantity and quality of manufactured goods
  • distribution of employees to individual shifts
  • attendance - approval of holidays for subordinate employees, control of breaks, etc.
  • control of line leaders - record keeping
  • control and management of the work of crate washers, washing machine employees
  • daily evaluations of line leaders
  • daily reporting for internal needs
  • daily guidance and evaluation of individual shifts
  • weekly summary reports regarding production and suggestions for improvement
  • taking over raw materials from the raw material warehouse
  • cooperation with controllers
  • ensure compliance with company standards and technological procedures in production
  • ensure employee training regarding the operation of machines and equipment and cooperate in organizing training according to the education plan
  • participate in work meetings
  • work in 3 shifts, if necessary also 12-hour shifts and occasional work on Saturdays

High school with matriculation

Post-secondary/higher vocational education

Education in the field

Food industry/industrial engineering/management

Language skills

Hungarian language - Intermediate (B2) and Slovak language - Intermediate (B2)

Experience in the position/area

Experience in a leadership position min. 3 years
