Job Description

This Plant Financial Analyst position directly supports Connection Systems manufacturing operations in various financial activities. Reporting to the Plant Controller, the analyst will monitor financial performance, assist with budget, forecast, and analysis of plant controllable costs, and manage material and inventory related costs. Key responsibilities include preparing month-end journal entries, reconciling payroll, reviewing engineering changes, analyzing variance accounts, and assisting with inventory management and ad hoc reporting.
Good To Have:
  • Master's degree in Business
  • Experience with SAP
  • 2+ years’ experience working in a manufacturing environment
  • Demonstrated proficiency using Microsoft Office (Word, Access, Outlook, Teams, PowerPoint etc.)
  • Ability to work effectively with people at all levels in an organization
  • Strong results-orientation and execution characteristics
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills with a strong ability to work with a team
  • Ability to effectively organize, prioritize and accomplish multiple conflicting tasks, make intelligent, timely decisions and solve problems independently
  • Resourcefully innovate and adapt in a rapidly changing environment
Must Have:
  • Assist in budget, forecast and analysis of plant controllable costs

  • Assist in weekly flash of monthly results
  • Track operating costs and analyze versus monthly forecast
  • Prepare month end journal entries
  • Reconcile hourly payroll posting to manufacturing work schedule
  • Review all engineering change for impact to BOM, material cost and margin
  • Analyze all variance accounts (PPV/POV)
  • Assist PCL group with all physical inventories, inventory adjustments
  • Prepare product mix analysis
  • PVS analysis
  • Serve as back up for Plant Controller when out of office
  • Ad hoc reporting as necessary
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting / Finance
  • 2+ Years’ experience in Finance
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel
