Job Summary
This role focuses on planning and executing sales for Platform & Security products within Salesforce Japan's sales division. You will drive sales strategies, customer engagement, proposals, and contract closures, collaborating with various internal teams and partners. Key responsibilities include formulating sales plans, supporting deals, enabling sales teams, and organizing events to boost product awareness and pipeline. The ideal candidate will be a trusted advisor to CDOs/CIOs, understanding customer operations and leveraging technology for DX.
Must Have
- Business experience in manufacturing sales
- 5+ years experience as enterprise corporate sales, pre-sales consultant, or engineer
- Customer-first mindset and strong commitment to numbers
- Experience proposing platform solutions (application development, mobile, IoT, AI, databases, integration)
- Planning skills for achieving goals
- Experience in planning and implementing lead generation
- Sales experience covering wide territory in collaboration with internal departments
- Excellent verbal, written, and presentation skills

- Experience in seminar planning, attracting attendees, and lecturing

Department Description:
Product Specialization is an organization within the sales division that aligns with solution cuts and conducts sales activities. As a group of experts in each solution such as Service Cloud, Platform & Security, Data Cloud, and Slack, we are working to expand our business.
Role Description:
This position focuses on planning and executing sales plans for Platform & Security products. You will promote sales activities from strategy formulation for expanding sales in your assigned area to customer visits, proposals, and contract signing, in collaboration with account sales departments, marketing departments, inside sales departments, channel sales departments, and development partners. Main duties: sales plan formulation, deal support, enablement, event and seminar planning.
Your Impact:
- Formulate sales plans to achieve annual targets.
- Accompany Core AEs to propose Platform & Security products to customers.
- Plan/operate events, webinars, etc., aimed at increasing awareness of Platform & Security products and increasing deals (Pipeline).
- Create effective talk scripts and sales tools for Core AEs and inside sales to sell Platform & Security products to customers. This position requires an individual who can convey the value of the product to customers, act as a trusted advisor to CDOs/CIOs, understand customer operations, and propose solutions with expertise in technology that realizes DX.
Basic Requirements:
- Business experience in manufacturing sales.
- 5+ years of experience as an enterprise corporate sales or pre-sales consultant, or engineer.
- Customer-first mindset, strong commitment to numbers, and ability to be active.
- Experience proposing technologies and platform solutions such as application development, mobile solutions, IoT, AI, databases, and integration.
- Planning skills for achieving goals.
- Experience in planning and implementing lead generation methods, and sales experience covering a wide territory in collaboration with internal departments.
- Excellent verbal, written, and presentation skills.
Preferred Requirements:
