As part of the development of our export activities, we are looking for a Junior PMO intern to support our team in the operational and administrative management of helicopter simulator maintenance contracts. The position is based at the Cergy site.
This person will join the department that manages all maintenance offers and projects within the France domain for the "Training & Simulations" activities of the Thales group, whose expertise lies in the realization of some of the world's most advanced training services and systems for helicopters, fighter jets, armored vehicles, and land forces.
For this position, we are looking for a final-year student, to complete a 6-month internship, from January 2026 to June 2026 (dates to be agreed upon). A first experience in project management is ideally desired, as well as strong motivation to gain concrete experience in this field. The candidate must have good interpersonal skills and be able to collaborate effectively with other professional families such as engineering, purchasing, or industry. He/she will support the deployment of good PMO practices and actively contribute to the operational management of projects.
A significant part of the exchanges and work will be in English, both oral and written. A very good level is therefore expected in this language to ensure fluid interaction with international stakeholders and to successfully carry out the assigned missions.
Your main missions will be:
M2 engineering student, business school, or Management student with a first experience in project management, contract administration, or operational management.
Interest in the aeronautics, defense, or simulation sectors is a plus.
We are looking for a rigorous intern, with a good analytical mind, a developed sense of organization, and capable of working autonomously. You know how to manage several tasks simultaneously with efficiency.
You master Pack Office as well as project management tools and methods such as RACI, PERT, and GANTT.
Professional English indispensable (written and oral) – C1 level minimum.
You have the ability to set up, structure, and manage the various PMO missions, including planning, risk management, financial monitoring, and reporting.
Furthermore, your writing skills allow you to draft documents, dashboards, and risk and opportunity registers with clarity and rigor.
