Job Summary

Job Description

The PMO Manager role involves planning and controlling project schedules, resources, and efforts, including integrated project plans and milestone tracking. Key responsibilities include conducting workshops (PERT, WBS), Earned Value analyses, and risk management. The role also focuses on developing and ensuring the application of project management processes and tools, creating performance reports, and supporting cost and workload planning. The manager will also assist Bid Managers and contribute to departmental development.
Must have:
  • Plan and control schedules, resources, and efforts for offers and projects.
  • Prepare and execute workshops (e.g., PERT, WBS) and Earned Value analyses.
  • Manage risks and opportunities within projects.
  • Develop and ensure application of project management processes, methods, and tools.
  • Create analyses, reports, and KPIs for project performance.
  • Support project-related cost and workload planning.
  • Support Bid Managers in elaborating project management-related offer content.
  • Participate in departmental development, including training and coaching.

Your Mission

  • Planning and controlling schedules, resources, and efforts for offers and projects, including integrated project plans and milestone tracking
  • Preparation and execution of workshops (e.g., PERT, WBS), Earned Value analyses, and risk and opportunity management
  • Further development and assurance of the application of project management processes, methods, and tools in close coordination with the Project Management Office (PMO)
  • Creation of analyses, reports, and KPIs for project performance, and support for project-related cost and workload planning
  • Support for Bid Managers in elaborating project management-related offer content and participation in departmental development (e.g., training & coaching)

What we look forward to

  • Completed technical or economic studies or a comparable qualification
  • Several years of professional experience in project, change, and turnaround management, as well as proven leadership skills in complex project environments, ideally in the defense industry or marine environment
  • Profound knowledge in the application of methods such as PERT, WBS, Earned Value, Lean Management, and agile working methods
  • High team orientation, strong communication skills, and experience working within a matrix organization
  • Willingness to travel (national/international), as well as fluent English skills
