Practical engineering student for TCM – Kiryat Gat

This position is for a practical engineering student in the FFEO (Frontend facilities engineering and operations) organization at Intel Kiryat Gat. The role involves supporting technical and logistics aspects to maintain 24/7 manufacturing in the Clean Room. Responsibilities include working in the Gas and chemicals operation area, verifying system functionality, performing equipment maintenance, and constant monitoring. The student will work in shifts, performing tasks like Read and Rounds, coordinating activities, and troubleshooting mechanical and electronic systems.

Must Have

• Active student for Practical Engineering studies in Electrical/Electronics/ Mechanical/ Mechatronics/ Chemical/ or Gas/ or equivalent
• Minimum 3-4 full semesters to graduation
• Ability to work 3 shifts a week or more
• Ability to work in shifts mode, including during the nights, holidays or weekends
• Good communication skills both in Hebrew and in English (written and spoken)

Good to Have

• High Technical skills - previous technical experience is an advantage
• High level and experience with Excel and Microsoft Office
• Multitasking and ability to set priorities independently
• Great team relations
• High customer orientation
• Self-learning ability

Job Description:

This position is in FFEO (Frontend facilities engineering and operations) organization in Intel Kiryat Gat. This org (Production Infrastructures) supports all technical and logistics aspects required in order to maintain 24/7 manufacturing at the Clean Room at Intel Kiryat Gat. As part of your role, you will be working in the Gas and chemicals operation area, requested to verify systems are functioning well, perform all maintenance activities on the equipment and monitoring the equipment constantly. You will be working in shifts schedule. Systems activities on the shift includes: Read and Rounds, coordination and management of activities, performance of repairs and advanced trouble shooting of equipment (which includes mechanical and electronic systems).

Qualifications:

• You should be an active student for Practical Engineering (הנדסאות ולא לימודי הנדסה) studies in Electrical/Electronics/ Mechanical/ Mechatronics/ Chemical/ or Gas/ or equivalent
• Minimum 3-4 full semesters to graduation
• Ability to work 3 shifts a week or more.
• Ability to work in shifts mode, including during the nights, holidays or weekends
