Principal, Global Culture & Inclusion Japan

Micron Technology is seeking a Principal for Global Culture & Inclusion in Japan. This individual contributor role focuses on integrating GCI strategy into regional initiatives, collaborating with HR teams and Employee Resource Groups to foster an inclusive workplace. Key responsibilities include championing GCI strategy, enabling business outcomes, providing expert advice, and customizing global programs. The role requires 5+ years of experience in Culture & Inclusion, HR, Talent, or Program Management, strong project management, communication, and data analysis skills, and knowledge of HR processes and local employment laws.

Key Responsibilities:

• Champion the rollout of GCI strategy in Japan, tailoring initiatives to fit local cultures and business needs.
• Collaborate with Talent Acquisition, Talent Development, and People Business Partners to embed GCI strategy throughout the talent lifecycle.
• Enabling business outcomes like retention, innovation, and team performance in alignment with Micron Values.
• Serve as the organization’s GCI expert, providing strategic advice and actionable insights to empower teams and foster inclusion.
• Partner with ERGs to strengthen inclusive programs, drive engagement, and build community.
• Customize and localize global GCI programs and materials to ensure regional accessibility and effectiveness.
• Monitor and analyze GCI metrics, transforming data into strategies that improve impact, and coordinate diversity-focused events and learning sessions to foster belonging and collaboration.
• Lead GCI communications and branding efforts to increase visibility, raise awareness, and promote an inclusive workplace culture.
