Job Description
Buckman Laboratories in Ghent is seeking a Production Operator. Your mission will be to ensure smooth production activities and produce chemical products and formulations according to SOPs, safety, and environmental rules. Responsibilities include operating and monitoring production equipment, packaging, labeling, taking samples for the lab, performing minor maintenance, and participating in safety training and 5S initiatives. You will also report and comply with ISO9001 & ISO14001 standards.
Good To Have:
- A2 chemistry, electricity, or mechanics diploma
- Experience in chemical production
Must Have:
- Ensure production activities run smoothly
- Produce chemical products and formulations according to SOPs, safety, and environmental rules
- Operate and monitor production equipment (manual & automatic)
- Package, label, and take samples for the lab
- Perform minor maintenance work and clean process equipment
- Actively participate in safety training and 5S initiatives
- Report and comply with ISO9001 & ISO14001 standards
- Secondary education diploma
- 2-4 years of relevant experience
