Project Launch Manager

Missions:

Secure the performance of P1 project launches from a quality and cost perspective.

• Guarantee the achievement of the project's industrial objectives in terms of manufacturing: adherence to principles.
• Ensure compliance with production/manufacturing quality objectives (development of process standards, planning, capacity and logistics control…), and take responsibility for Project QRQC on site from OTOP preparation.
• Plan and execute the Run at Rate and FDPR in compliance with quality objectives for assembly and upstream components.
• Manage the acceptance of local components.
• Lead process validation by the client.
• Manage the preparation, delivery, and acceptance of the PPAP file, as well as the delivery of parts to the client on time, integrating all requested modifications.
• Validate the availability of capacities and investments on the production site, and guarantee deliveries during ramp-up phases.
• Monitor non-quality costs and associated improvement plans.
• Secure and control Project resources.

Manage operationally Project launches

• Manage his/her budget (all Site resources)
• Ensure appraisal and development of associated project team members
• Report process development progress to PSC & PMC with control of associated Project Manager (Use RU Ready)
• Participate in all reviews: Design, Process & logistic, PFMEA, PSC, PMC starting REQF milestone
• Is functionally responsible for all PTMs, set project objectives, ensure appraisal of Project Team Members
• Verify and validate the activities of Project team members and propose scenarios to reach milestones.

Operational management of Project launches:

• Operationally manage Project launches.
• Manage his/her budget (all Site resources).
• Ensure the evaluation and development of associated Project team members.
• Report process development progress to PSC & PMC in coordination with the associated Project Manager (RU Ready tool).
• Participate in all reviews: Design, Process & Logistics, PFMEA, PSC, PMC from the REQF milestone.
• Be functionally responsible for all PTMs, set Project objectives and ensure their evaluation.

Client relationship & coordination:

• Ensure local communication with the client.
• Liaise between the project development team located at the Development Center and the client.

Values & compliance:

• Promote and control the application of Valeo Values, Culture, and Standards (Product, Methodology, Tools) during project launches.
• Comply with the Valeo Code of Ethics.
• Comply with health, safety, and environmental charters and requirements.
• Guarantee the manufacturing development of the Project through activities defined in CLEAN and other applicable Valeo standards.
