We are seeking a seasoned Unity Architect with over 15 years of experience to lead the development of 3D digital twin solutions and simulations, capable of running "what-if" scenarios to enhance our projects.

As a 3D Generalist, you will be responsible for creating and optimizing 3D assets for our digital twin projects. Your role will involve using a variety of design applications to build, animate, and texture models, as well as importing and staging assets in NVIDIA Omniverse. You will play a crucial role in reproducing manual asset optimization pipelines and experimenting with automatic mesh optimization techniques.
**Key Responsibilities:**
Create high-quality 3D models and modify existing assets to meet project requirements.
Utilize design applications such as Maya, 3DS Max, Blender, and Substance Painter to produce detailed models, animations, and textures.
Collaborate with multiple 3D artist personas including modelers, animators, and texture artists to ensure cohesive asset development.
Import 3D assets into NVIDIA Omniverse Create, stage them effectively, and make necessary modifications to achieve project goals.
Reproduce manual asset optimization pipelines to maintain high performance and visual fidelity.
Drive experiments with approaches to automatic mesh optimization and evaluate the effectiveness of the optimization pipeline.
Work closely with the development team to ensure seamless integration of 3D assets into the digital twin environment.
Stay updated with industry trends and advancements in 3D modeling, texturing, and optimization techniques.
**Required Skills and Qualifications:**
Proficiency in Maya, 3DS Max, Blender, and Substance Painter.
Strong portfolio showcasing high-quality 3D modeling, texturing, and animation work.
Experience in creating, modifying, and optimizing 3D assets for real-time applications.
Familiarity with NVIDIA Omniverse Create and its asset staging and modification tools.
Ability to reproduce and optimize manual asset pipelines for improved performance.
Strong understanding of mesh optimization techniques and experience with automatic mesh optimization.
