Must Have

- Reside in Córdoba Capital (Argentina).
Good to Have
- Knowledge of English (intermediate or higher level).
- Experience in the textbook publishing sector.

About the position
Our commercial team is in direct contact with teachers and coordinators of educational institutions to understand their needs and offer the most suitable products from our extensive catalog. We also work in collaboration with the marketing, academic advisory and editorial areas to provide advice, various tools and resources that adapt to our regional market.
The sales representative is responsible for making direct contact with teachers and coordinators, visiting institutions or through digital means, and participating in academic events to promote Macmillan Education's local catalog to achieve adoptions of our products and meet established objectives. They must plan their tasks according to the commercial strategy, obtain market information and keep the database updated.
Main functions and responsibilities:
- Promote our editorial catalog through personal or virtual contacts with current and/or potential clients.
- Plan your tasks in coordination with sales supervisors to comply with the promotion plan for each season and sales objectives.
- Analyze your area at the end of each season, highlighting strengths, opportunities, weaknesses and threats based on the activities of the competition.
- Know in detail the product catalog (printed and digital) and the available promotion and sales tools of Macmillan Education and the competition.
- Use the company's database to record and keep updated the information of the clients in your portfolio. This database is the fundamental tool for planning your tasks.
- Participate in internal product training, sales/planning skills, promotion tools, etc.
- Participate in sector events in which the company exhibits and promotes catalog products.
Experience, skills and knowledge
