About the Role:
The Wealth Proposition Manager is responsible for developing, managing, and enhancing the wealth platform proposition, supporting investment solutions, and ensuring the platform remains competitive, compliant, and commercially successful. This role leverages data-driven insights, maintains robust governance, and aligns platform strategy with regulatory and commercial objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support the development and ongoing management of the wealth platform proposition, ensuring it meets client needs and supports investment solutions effectively.
- Ensure the Morningstar Wealth Proposition position is optimized externally through various channels, including comparison and research tools used by Financial Planning Professionals.
- Conduct regular competitor benchmarking to identify market trends, opportunities, and threats, informing proposition enhancements and strategic decisions.
- Ensure effective governance frameworks are in place and adhered to, supporting risk management and regulatory compliance across platform operations.
- Utilize data analytics to monitor platform performance, client behaviour, and investment trends, driving continuous improvement and innovation.
- Work closely with commercial teams to ensure the platform proposition supports business growth, profitability, and client retention.
- Stay abreast of regulatory developments, relevant legislation ensuring the platform and investment support functions operate within all relevant legal and regulatory requirements.
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, including product, compliance, technology, operations, marketing and sales teams, to deliver a cohesive and market-leading proposition.
Skills & Experience:
- Proven experience in wealth management, investment platforms, or financial services proposition management.
- Strong understanding of platform operations, investment products, and regulatory frameworks.
- Demonstrated ability to conduct competitor analysis and translate insights into actionable strategies.
- Experience in governance and risk management within a regulated environment.
- Analytical mindset with experience in data-driven decision-making and performance monitoring.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
