Job Description

Publicis Media, part of Publicis Groupe, is seeking a Purchasing Executive in Bogotá, Colombia. The role requires 2 years of experience in advertising and marketing agencies, focusing on the execution and control of media plan budgets. Responsibilities include budget preparation, negotiations with media, reporting, efficiency analysis, and ensuring compliance with company processes and policies. The ideal candidate will have knowledge of media buying management tools like Advermind and audience measurement tools like IBOPE, along with intermediate Excel skills.
Must Have:
  • Preparation of budgets and orders.
  • Daily negotiations and management with media.
  • Preparation of weekly and actual compliance reports.
  • Preparation and analysis of purchasing efficiencies, delivery of savings.
  • Defining the mechanism with the media to check ad placement.
  • Reporting new commercial codes to IBOPE in the official IBOPE format.
  • Tracking pending materials and codes for ad placement ordering.
  • Reviewing media rates.
  • Optimizing the client's budget.
  • Ensuring budget compliance with media.
  • Supervising media in ad placement (daily checking).
  • Sending certifications and timely response to the checking team.
  • Recovering TRPs by reconciling with media.
  • Ensuring compliance with company processes, policies, and procedures, both locally and regionally.
  • 2 years of experience in advertising and marketing agencies.
  • Knowledge and handling of media buying management tools, project planning, and metrics analysis, such as Advermind.
  • Knowledge in the use of tools focused on measuring and analyzing media audience, especially television and radio, such as IBOPE.
  • Intermediate Excel.
