Job Summary
The Fairmont Gold Supervisor at Fairmont Waterfront is responsible for providing exceptional service and concierge information to guests, developing strong guest relationships, and managing tasks within the Fairmont Gold Lounge. This role involves assisting guests with food and beverage service, reviewing reservations, and addressing concerns promptly. The supervisor ensures adherence to department policies, safety standards, and contributes to a culture of excellence in luxury hospitality.
Must Have
- Consistently offer professional, friendly and engaging service
- Provide exceptional Concierge information to guests
- Develop and maintain strong guest relationships
- Develop and maintain contacts with business partners and community
- Assist guests regarding hotel facilities
- Review all Fairmont Gold reservations to ensure requests are met
- Assist guests in the Fairmont Gold Lounge with food and beverage service
- Manage work tasks between pantry, lounge and Fairmont Gold desk
- Address guest concerns quickly, logging and notifying proper departments
- Follow department policies, procedures and service standards
- Follow all safety policies
- Previous Front Desk experience required, preferably in a 5 diamond hotel
- Previous Property Management System experience required
- Computer literate in Microsoft Window applications required
- Must possess Serving it Right certification
- Must possess Food Safe certification
- Must possess a professional presentation
- Must possess outstanding guest services skills
- Sophisticated verbal and written communication skills
- Strong interpersonal and problem solving abilities
- Highly responsible & reliable
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast paced environment
- Ability to work cohesively as part of a team
- Ability to focus attention on guest needs, remaining calm and courteous at all times

- University/College degree in a related discipline an asset

Job Description
Reporting to the Fairmont Gold Manager, responsibilities and essential job functions include but are not limited to the following:
- Consistently offer professional, friendly and engaging service
- Provide exceptional Concierge information to our guests about local and area attractions, restaurants, theatres, special events, tickets, confirmations and other available services
- Develop and maintain strong guest relationships to ensure Fairmont Gold loyalty
- Develop and maintain contacts with business partners, concessionaires, local community and counterparts of Fairmont Gold throughout Fairmont Hotels & Resorts
- Assist guests regarding hotel facilities in an informative and helpful way
- Review all Fairmont Gold reservations to ensure requests are met
- Assists guests in the Fairmont Gold Lounge with food and beverage service
- Manage the work tasks between pantry, lounge and Fairmont Gold desk
- Address guest concerns and react quickly, logging and notifying proper departments
- To follow department policies, procedures and service standards
- To follow all safety policies
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
Qualifications:
- Previous Front Desk experience required, preferably in a 5 diamond hotel environment
- Previous Property Management System experience required

Physical Aspects of Position (include but are not limited to)
- Frequent standing and walking throughout shift
- Occasional kneeling, pushing, pulling, lifting up to 20lbs.
- Occasional ascending or descending ladders, stairs and ramps
