Must Have

  • Locating water, sewer and stormwater leaks
  • Using thermal imaging, moisture detection and other diagnostic tools
  • Completing accurate leak detection reports
  • Working within insurance job scopes, budgets and procedural guidelines
  • Communicating effectively with customers, insurers and internal teams
  • Following WHS requirements and maintaining safe work practices
  • Managing daily workload and attending jobs independently
  • Proven plumbing experience
  • Strong diagnostic and problem-solving abilities
  • High attention to detail with accurate reporting skills
  • Good communication and customer service skills
  • Ability to work independently and manage time well
  • Current Plumbing Licence
  • Driver's Licence

  • Leak detection background
  • Experience with acoustic and gas tracing

About The Opportunity

The primary purpose of this role is to locate, diagnose and report on leaks using industry-leading equipment while delivering exceptional service to customers and insurance partners.

You will be fully supported by a leadership and administration team, including supervisors, directors, office management and the scheduling team.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Locating water, sewer and stormwater leaks internally and externally
  • Using thermal imaging, moisture detection and other diagnostic tools
  • Completing accurate leak detection reports with photos and clear findings
  • Working within insurance job scopes, budgets and procedural guidelines
  • Communicating effectively with customers, insurers and internal teams
  • Following WHS requirements and maintaining safe work practices
  • Managing daily workload and attending jobs independently

About You

The successful candidate will have:

  • Proven plumbing experience, with leak detection background highly desirable
  • Strong diagnostic and problem-solving abilities
  • High attention to detail with accurate reporting skills
  • Good communication and customer service skills
  • Ability to work independently and manage time well
  • Current Plumbing Licence & Driver's Licence
  • Highly favourable if you also have experience with acoustic and gas tracing
