We are looking to strengthen the team of our flagship mobile project, Hero Wars: Alliance, by hiring an experienced QA Lead.

What you’ll be doing

• Growing the QA specialists' competencies and helping them overcome challenges in their current tasks
• Organizing and supporting knowledge sharing between project teams, as well as between Hero Wars: Alliance and other Nexters teams
• Participating in the development of key project components, defining and overseeing critical decisions regarding game quality assurance
• Initiating and leading the implementation of technological innovations and new approaches in game quality assurance

We hope that you have

• At least 6 years of QA experience, including 2 years in a leadership position
• Experience managing multiple QA teams simultaneously
• Experience in creating and supporting development plans for QA specialists
• Skills in setting goals, monitoring progress, and providing constructive feedback aimed at achieving objectives
• The ability to work effectively under tight deadlines and in multitasking environments.
• Product team experience (not outsourcing)
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, working with a variety of specialists and teams including developers, producers, designers, and managers
• Product thinking: understanding business priorities and the ability to balance quality and speed
• Experience ensuring the quality of high-load applications and/or multiplayer online games
• The ability to anticipate potential issues and improve the product based on user experience
• Knowledge and experience working with key automated testing tools
• A deep understanding of different types of testing: functional, regression, integration, API, UI, load testing, etc. Experience in test design: writing test cases, checklists, and test plans.
• Understanding of CI/CD principles and the ability to integrate automated tests into pipelines. Experience with automation using stacks such as Python (pytest), JavaScript (Playwright), or Java (Selenium) would be a plus
• Familiarity with SDLC and development methodologies such as Agile/Scrum and Kanban
• Strong skills in expressing thoughts clearly and logically, structuring information based on the "problem-analysis-solution" principle
• English proficiency sufficient to read technical documentation
