QA Specialist

IO Interactive is seeking a meticulous and skilled Quality Assurance Specialist to join their global team in Istanbul. The role involves structured software testing, designing and executing test cases, performing regression tests, and managing QA tasks. The specialist will also contribute to QA research and development, investigate new features, improve frameworks, and facilitate communication within the QA department. The ideal candidate is an outgoing, proactive communicator with a passion for video games and software development, with at least one year of experience in the games industry.

Must Have

• Participate in structured software development in an agile environment.
• Design and execute test cases.
• Perform regression tests to ensure stability.
• Create and supervise QA tasks for in-house and outsourced teams.
• Schedule QA tasks according to project state and workload.
• Create reports for Leads, stakeholders, and the team.
• Support other QA department members.
• Investigate testing needs for new features.
• Create, improve, and provide feedback on current frameworks.
• Investigate new hardware and software usability for QA.
• Facilitate communication within the QA department and IO Interactive.
• Minimum 1 year of experience in the games industry.
• Proficient in written and spoken English.

What you will do:

Structured software test:

• Participate in structured software development in an agile environment

• Perform different regression tests to ensure stability

Manage tasks:

• Schedule tasks accordingly to the current project state and overall QA workload
• Create reports for Leads, stakeholders and the whole team
• Support other QA department members in their duties and tasks

QA research and development

• Investigate the needs of new features regarding testing
• Create, improve and provide feedback with currently used frameworks
• Investigate new hardware and software usability in the context of the QA department
• Facilitate communication in the QA department and within IO Interactive

Who you are:

• Minimum 1 year of experience in the games industry.
• Proficient in English, written and spoken. Our company language is English, and you will have to communicate clearly with people of different nationalities every day.

We would love it if you have experience from one or more AAA titles.
