Job Summary

QCM Change Management (CH) Engineers are responsible for maintaining business processes related to system operations, including Micron MES. This involves system implementation, troubleshooting, quality improvement through automation, preventing quality anomalies, and enhancing operational efficiency. The role requires collaboration with various internal departments (PEE, ME, PIE, IT, QE) and global Micron teams to drive new system introductions, upgrades, and process improvement projects. The engineer will develop expertise in Micron MES systems (Sigma, GeRM, ET, SPACE, Sampling, Traveler, Qual System, QTime, MES Tracking) and project management skills, contributing to Micron's worldwide operations.

Must Have

  • Maintain business processes for system operations.
  • Implement and troubleshoot Micron MES and other systems.
  • Improve quality and prevent anomalies through automation.
  • Enhance operational efficiency.

  • Work with Micron global teams on system projects.

  • Manage and implement assigned projects.
  • Collect data, create scripts, and automate metrics/reports using RPA and Tableau.
  • Improve Change Management for software business processes.
  • Drive projects related to MES Systems (Sigma, GeRM, ET, SPACE, CIM, PCTRAV, GeRM qual system, Queue Time and MES Fab Tracking).
  • Identify issues, benchmark solutions, and follow up on performance constraints.
  • Build relationships with internal customers for needs analysis and guidance.
  • Provide MES related training as an instructor.

Good to Have

Job Summary and Description:

QCM Change Management (CH) Engineers are responsible for installing new systems, including Micron MES, upgrading systems, troubleshooting, improving quality, preventing excursions, improving work efficiency through automation features and maintaining the business process by collaborating with stakeholders, such as the PEE, ME, PIE, IT, and QE departments.

A CH Engineer’s role also involves developing new systems, upgrading and improving the business process by working with Micron global team members and CH team members in other sites.

Through this role, a CH engineer is expected to gain an understanding of the systems which Micron MES is composed of, such as Sigma, GeRM, ET, SPACE, Sampling, Traveler, Qual System, QTime and MES Tracking. A CH engineer is also expected to enhance their project management skills, collaborate with the Micron global organization and have an active role in Micron worldwide.

Additional responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Complete all required safety training and conduct all work in accordance with Micron safety policies
  • Manage their schedule and implement their assigned projects
  • Collect various data, create scripts, promote automation of various Metrics and create reports using RPA (Robotic Process Automation) and Tableau to improve the work efficiency of CSM and other related departments
  • Improve Change Management related software for business process procedures
  • Drive projects related to MES Systems (Sigma, GeRM, ET, SPACE, CIM, PCTRAV, GeRM qual system, Queue Time and MES Fab Tracking)
  • Work with stakeholders to identify issues, benchmark solutions, and follow-up on performance constraints
  • Build close relationships with internal customers to conduct needs analyses and provide guidance
  • Communicate and coordinate with stakeholders impacted by changes or new initiatives
  • Evaluate the effectiveness of Change Management software changes
  • Act as a consultant to stakeholders to ensure continuous improvement in QCM related software systems
  • Provide MES related training as an instructor to users

Qualifications:

  • Experience working with Micron MES (operation control, conversion, etc.)
  • A basic understanding of Fab processes and equipment
  • Problem solving skills based on data analysis
  • Ability to communicate and work well with other team members whether internal/external of the group
  • Ability to develop, teach, present, and understand technical topics
  • A basic understanding of various programming skills and databases
  • An understanding of the communication and data flow between Fab equipment and IT hosts

Education and Experience:

BS in an engineering related field or equivalent experience.
