R&D Team Leader

As a Team Lead, you’ll be leading a nimble group that’s empowered to set aggressive goals and move fast to achieve them in an ambitious and technologically inspiring project. With best engineers working together, brainstorming complex ideas, building, proving, or dismissing concepts, team lead will drive development of a new game engine, pursuing the exiting vision of bringing better experience for our players.

Responsibilities:

• You will be leading engineering team, responsible for building complex, high-scale mobile game.
• You will be maintaining innovative culture where discussions are open, strategic risks are encouraged and problems are solved together, but to build proper processes which will allow us to scale smoothly.
• Your role includes cooperation with product management and production operations. While managing employees you might also get your hands dirty by executing actual engineering tasks.
• You will have to move fast, fail fast and learn fast, as ever-changing environment requires.

Requirements:

• Experience in leading teams and people management
• Working with reporting systems (e.g. Jira)
• Familiarity with agile methodology (Scrum, Kanban)
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Fluent English
• Proven planning experience in high scale projects
• Open minded and good in accepting new ideas, experience in moderating technical discussions and explaining the vision as well as connecting the details
• You are not stressed with changing priorities and fast pace.
• Critical mindset
