JDE Peet's is seeking a Regional Account Manager for e-commerce and retail customers, based in Brussels. This role involves managing client relationships, negotiating contracts, implementing deals, and developing customer business plans. Must Have
- Manage and establish good relationships with customers to foster category growth
- Close contracts by negotiating trade terms, funding, and growth initiatives
- Responsible for deal implementation and constant evaluation for agile adaptation
- Develop and deliver customer business plans (CBP)
- Develop and execute optimal promotional programs based on national marketing & sales plans
- Manage promotional investments
- Collaborate with Category/Customer Development Specialists and shopper activation managers
- Manage the customer P&L
- Provide clear objectives and deliverables for the field team
- Provide customer and banner understanding on the hot beverage category to the business
- Master or bachelor degree
- First experience in FMCG (B2B or B2C) environment
- Strong in creating connections with customers and internal colleagues
- Positive mindset
- Excellent planning and organization skills
- Passion for analysing customer performance and adapting plans for growth
- Strong negotiation and influencing skills
- Strong analytical skills
- Fluency in Dutch, French, and English

We’re looking for a Regional Account Manager responsible for our e-commerce accounts and retail customers. You'll be part of our Sales team based in Brussels and will report directly to the Group Key Account Manager.
Main responsibilities:
- As a Regional Account Manager you are the point-of-contact between de client and JDE Peet's, managing & establishing a good relationship with the customer to work together on the growth of the category.
- You close contracts with the customers by negotiating trade terms, trade funding and growth initiatives according to the JDE Peet's strategy on the hot beverage category
- You are responsible for deal implementation and constant evaluation to further improve and adapt in an agile way.
- You develop and deliver the CBP (customer business plan) and work out a joint customer business plan
- You develop and execute optimal promotional programs based on the national marketing & sales plans; manage promotional investments
- You work in close collaboration with the Category/Customer Development Specialists and the shopper activation managers for the category input and the banner/channel plan
- You manage the customer P&L
- You provide clear objectives and deliverables for the field team
- You provide customer and banner understanding on the hot beverage category to the entire business.

For this role we’re looking for someone who has the following skills and experience:
- You have a master or bachelor degree
- You have a first experience in FMCG (B2B or B2C) environment
- Experience with finance, field sales or in category management is a plus;
- You are strong in creating connections, both with your customers as with your internal colleagues. You have a positive mindset seeking for what is possible.
- You excel in planning and organization and get energy out of it.
- You have a passion to dive into the performance of your customer, analysing the different business drivers and to adapt the plan for future proof growth.
- Skills: negotiation and influencing and strong in analytical tasks.
- Fluency in Dutch, French & English
