Job Description

Enphase Energy is seeking a Regional Sales Manager in Bangalore, India, to drive revenue and market share growth within a defined network of partner/installer accounts. This role involves educating partners on Enphase technology, managing sales funnels, forecasting, and executing regional programs. The manager will collaborate with internal teams to ensure a best-in-class customer experience, contribute to strategic business plans, and gather market intelligence. This hybrid role requires 3 days onsite, transitioning to 5 days.

Must Have:
  • Build and manage a successful installer network to achieve sales targets for the region
  • Build and manage a strong sales funnel, systematically capturing opportunities at each stage (lead to revenue) and driving conversions
  • Manage revenue, forecast at individual account level with specific actions (marketing programs, promotions etc) to grow each of them
  • Contribute to strategic business plans for the region, incorporating TAM/SAM/SOM
  • Manage together with the Sales Team the day-to-day communications with the assigned distributor and installer accounts
  • Drive distributor and customer issue resolutions
  • Work closely with digital marketing team to define new areas and content topics for lead generation
  • Regular reviews of business status with key customers addressing account share / market development and manage the improvement of operational key performance indicators together with the customer
  • Solicit feedback for product improvements
  • Continuously scan market landscape to capture information regarding opportunities and threats
  • Maintain accurate records of customer communication in CRM Sales Force
  • Track metrics to evaluate distributor/installer performance
  • Bachelors/master’s degree in Engineering or business management
  • 5+ years sales of experience in Solar Industry
  • Solar products and services sales management experience with a strong related network connection
  • Working knowledge of sales pipelines tools like salesforce, and digital lead generation
  • Excellent written and oral communications skills
  • Ability to work independently and be self-motivated
  • Ability to prioritize time well to deliver consistently against stated objectives
  • Travel in the region – more than 50% of the times - will be required

This role at Enphase requires working onsite 3 days a week, with plans to transition back to a full 5 day in office schedule over time.

About the role:

The Regional Sales Manager responsibility include driving Enphase revenue and share growth in a defined set of partner/installer accounts, regions and recruits/enables new partners/installers. He/She educates partners on the Enphase technology and business propositions, enabling them to sell our solutions to achieve mutually beneficial revenue and profit goals. Inside Enphase, the Regional Sales Manager works closely with Sales Management, Field Applications, Marketing, Customer Service, operations and finance to ensure a best-in-class customer experience. The Regional Sales Manager will execute all regional programs, promotional initiatives and other key aspects of account management, forecasting, order management, partner training, collecting market intelligence.

Enphase’s sales model engages installers, integrators, module manufacturers & leading OEM partners in both residential and commercial markets to bring its microinverter systems to global markets.

What you will do:

  • Build and manage a successful installer network to achieve sales targets for the region
  • Build and manage a strong sales funnel, systematically capturing opportunities at each stage (lead to revenue) and driving conversions
