Restoration Technician

Our client, a reputable restoration company with over 35 years of experience, is seeking a Restoration Technician. This role involves attending emergency damage events, assessing sites, and performing remediation using specialized equipment. The technician will be responsible for operating restoration equipment, documenting progress, maintaining professionalism, joining an on-call roster, and managing equipment and chemicals safely. The company handles projects from major catastrophic events to everyday claims.

Must Have

• Operate restoration equipment safely and remove damaged materials for repair
• Monitor site conditions, document progress, and submit all paperwork promptly
• Maintain professionalism, punctuality, and positive client interactions
• Join the rotating on-call roster and assist with after-hours callouts
• Keep vehicles, storage areas, and equipment clean, organised, and compliant
• Manage chemicals, consumables, and tagging safely while supporting reports
• Minimum 1 year restoration experience or experience in a similar role
• Strong customer service skills
• Solid teamwork and communication
• Able to work independently with sound judgement and minimal supervision
• Highly organised with strong attention to detail and reliable time-management
• Confident using phones, laptops, and related technology under pressure
• Hold a White Card
• Hold a Drivers License
• Hold a Police Check

Good to Have

• IICRC certificate or equivalent certification
• Water, fire, or mould restoration experience
